a celebrated jazz
vocalist who was a founding member of Manhattan Transfer, will
present a Cabaret-style performance in the Parish
Hall.
Tickets: $20 for
adults, $15 for seniors and students will be sold at the
door.
Shrove
Tuesday Pancake Supper- Feb. 21, 6
p.m.- 8 p.m.
The members of
the Vestry will host their annual free pancake supper in the Parish
Hall. There will be pancakes, sausages, turkey bacon and fresh
fruit. Join us for this festive meal.
Ash
Wednesday- Feb.

The Holy
Eucharist with Imposition of Ashes will be observed at 7a.m.,
11
a.m. and 7 p.m. Please bring in
your palms on Sunday, Feb. 19 and they will be used to make the
ashes.

2012- Celebrating 145 Years of Faith, Service &
Fellowship
As of Feb. 6,
80 households have pledged over
$156,000 to
Christ Church
Riverdale for 2012 and their support is greatly
appreciated.
If you have not
yet pledged, please review your Pledge Packet prayerfully and return
a generous and realistic pledge to support the work of your church
in 2012.

Carpenter's
Kids- Pledges Due
Now
2012 marks the end of our five year commitment to support the
education of the AIDS orphans of Idufu, Tanzania. This has been a
very meaningful relationship which has made a positive change in the
lives of the children of one village.
If you have an outstanding
pledge, please write your final check as soon as possible. The
church must make the final payment in February to cover the uniform
and book expenses for the coming school year.

support of this very worthwhile project!
Feeding the
Hungry-
Please
remember that canned or boxed food for the Kingsbridge,
Riverdale, Marble Hill Food Bank may be brought
any week. There are a number of very needy families in these
neighboring communities who are dependent on this Food Bank to feed
their families
