Rector’s Vacation Coming Up

        The Rev. Lamborn will be on vacation beginning Sun., July 25.  The parish voice mail is being checked regularly and regular office hours continue Tuesday-Thursday 9am-12:30pm.  For an emergency of a pastoral nature, please contact Deacon Eugenia Wilson, or for other urgent matters, the Senior Warden, Margo Tyler.

       Filling in on Sunday, July 25, will be The Rt. Rev. E. Don Taylor, Rector of the Parish Church of Kingston, Jamaica, and retired Vicar Bishop for New York City. 

Midyear Stewardship Campaign

We began the year with a gap of a little less than 10% between anticipated revenues and operating expenses. The gap is significant, and closing it is both important and quite achievable. We are on our way toward achieving a balance budget for the second year in a row under challenging economic circumstances, but we need your help.  Please fill out a deficit elimination pledge form and return it to the church office.  Yes we can!

Organ Inauguration and Dedication

Please mark your calenders for the weekend of September 25 & 26.  On Saturday evening we will hold a gala inaugural concert and fundraiser featuring prominent recitalist Todd Wilson.   For more information about Mr. Wilson, see:

On Sunday afternoon, we will formally dedicate the organ to the service of God, with Bishop Roskam presiding.

If you have an outstanding balance remaining on your organ restoration pledge, please make every to see that it is brought up-to-date, or even paid ahead.   We need the funds to make the remaining payments on this beautiful and inspiring instrument.

Feeding the Hungry-

      Please remember that canned or boxed food for the Kingsbridge, Riverdale, Marble Hill Food Bank may be brought any Sunday.  There are a number of very needy families in these neighboring communities who are dependent on this Food Bank to feed their families.

 Summer Service Schedule

      For July and August, Sunday Services will be at 8:30 and 10:00 and there will    

be no Wednesday service.  The Choirs, Sunday School, Library and Adult Bible Study Group will recess as well.  This summer, the nursery will operate on a rotating volunteer basis.

Don’t Forget

    As you embark on your summer vacation, please do not forget the food pantry and keeping up with your pledge.  The needy are still hungry and we have to keep up with our bills
