The Reverend Robert C. (Rob) Lamborn began his tenure as Rector of Christ Church Riverdale on June 26th, 2004.  He is married to (the Rev.) Amy Bentley Lamborn, and they have one daughter, Caroline, born August 1, 2003.  The Lamborns met while attending seminary at the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee, and were married in 1994.  The Rev. Amy Lamborn is a Ph.D. student in Psychiatry and Religion at Union Theological Seminary under a full tuition Fellowship. Reverend Lamborn was ordained to the diaconate in 1994 and the priesthood in 1995, serving on the staff of Christ Church Cathedral, Indianapolis, 1994-96, and as Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, Crawfordsville, Indiana, 1996-2004. His undergraduate degree is in Music Education from the University of Georgia, and he holds the degree Master of Music from Indiana University, Bloomington. He is pursuing the degree Doctor of Ministry at Virginia Theological Seminary, in a program designed to run concurrently with his ministry.
